New Release: April 29, 2022 - Thunder

THUNDER ARE BACK WITH A DOUBLE ALBUMTHUNDER - DOPAMINEThunder is if nothing else consistent. They are a band that should have been much bigger around the world. Akin to what they are in the UK, headlining arenas, festivals, and the such. You can argue that they came along too late, broke up too soon, or for a million other reasons. But to their fans, they've been delivering the goods for 35 years.Dopamine is a double album. It is full of twists and turns, peaks and valleys, and takes you on a musical journey. It reminds me of albums I listened to growing up. Albums that didn't just have one single, or where a single, a B, C, and D version of that single. When you think you knew all of the answers to Dopamine, Thunder changes the questions. No two songs sound similar.Sure it sounds like Thunder, they didn't all of a sudden become a boy band. New Releases: April 22, 2022: Audrey Horne

AUDREY HORNE BACK WITH ALBUM NUMBER SEVEN AUDREY HORNE - DEVIL'S BELL Audrey Horne is a Norwegian band has been at it for two decades. They are a band that I would classify as "new to me."A few months back I was sent the promo video for the album's title track. The call back to the NWOBHM, specifically Iron Maiden caught my ear immediately. So I posted the track on my Patreon page, to see if my Patrons were into the track as well. The best thing about Devil's Bell, is yes, the title track does sound like Maiden. But none of the other tracks sound like it was influenced by the British band. Sure there are things here and there, but the rest of the album really varies. It's without a doubt, all hard rock. But, some of it feels like Thin Lizzy, some like Y&T. A little 70s and 80s hard rock, with some modern production so as to not make the album sound totally retro, or dated. The album is pretty solid top to bottom. If you were like me and didn't know A...
